Biography
High School: A 2006 graduate of Maple Grove High School, Norman was coached by Ken Friend… participated in track and field (4 years), diving (3 years) and gymnastics (2 years) during her athletic career at Maple Grove… captain of diving team… state qualifier in track… team mvp in track.
Personal: Daughter of Denise and Lee Norman of Maple Grove, MN… brother Andrew is a member of the SJU track team… enjoys exercising, the outdoors, spending time with friends and family, cooking, arts and crafts, snowmobiling and camping… majoring in Dietetics/Spanish.
What is your proudest moment of your Track & Field career?
"When I placed 1st at True Team sections during my junior year of high school."
What do you like about being a collegiate student-athlete?
"I like the fact that Track & Field is an opportunity to challenge yourself and push your body as far as your mind is willing to let it go. This allows us to build both physical and mental strength and confidence. Practice is something that I look forward to everyday; not only is it a refuge from our hectic lives, but it is also a time to laugh and share stories with amazing people."
