2020: OUTDOOR: The 2020 outdoor season was canceled by the NCAA on March 13 due to the COVID19 pandemic ... INDOOR: competed in five meets as a senior ... recorded three top-10 finishes ... recorded a career-best 400 time at the CSB/SJU Invite.

2019: OUTDOOR: Qualified for the MIAC Championships in the 400 hurdles and finished 16th ... recorded a career-best time in the event at the conference meet ... finished in the top 10 three times ... INDOOR: competed in two meets.

2018: OUTDOOR: Competed in the 400 hurdles at four meets ... recorded four top-15 finishes ... had best finish of 11th at Tommie Twilight ... INDOOR: competed at four meets ... recorded four top-13 times. .. best finish of seventh at CSB Invitational in the 400.

High School: Haley is a 2016 Waukee High School graduate. She competed in track and field for four years, cross country for four years, dance team for four years, cheerleading for three years, and swimming for one year. She earned All-Academic honors all four years and was the captain of her track, cross country, and dance teams her senior year. 

Personal: Haley is the daughter of Lisa and Bob Smith and has a brother, Moe, and a sister, Keely. She loves dance, playing piano, kayaking, and sewing. Haley is also a member of the CSB Competitive Dance Team. She loves being a student-athlete because she loves being apart of a team and having fun. She is majoring in Global Business Leadership.
