Hailley Thompson-Season-Career Results 

2024: INDOOR: Competed in four meets … took 4^th place in the 3000 with a time of 12:16.34 at the CSB/SJU Alumni Meet … set a career-best in the 3000 at the Gopher Classic with a time of 12:07.02 … set a career-best in the mile with a time of 5:58.84 at the St. Olaf Tostrud Classic.

2023: OUTDOOR: Competed in six meets … set a career-best 5000-meter time of 20:49.88 at the St. Thomas Tomcat Invitational … recorded a career-best 1500-meter time of 5:44.55 at the Norse Invite … INDOOR: Competed in five meets, recording two top-8 finishes … took 6th place at the CSB/SJU Alumni Meet with a 3000-meter time of 12:31.70 … set a career-best mile time of 6:16.20 at the Gopher Classic … took 8th place in the 5000-meter at the CSB/SJU Invitational with a time of 21:17.82.

High School: Thompson is a 2022 graduate of Saint Francis High School. She participated in cross country for 5 years and track and field for 4 years. She was awarded 3-time Academic All-Conference, and All-Conference honorable mention and Most Valuable Runner award in 2021 in cross country. She also received 3-time All-Conference and 4x800 All-Conference honorable mention in 2019 in track and field. The proudest moment of her career was being apart of her 4x800 honorable mention team that all hit PR's in the conference race.
 
Personal: Hailley is the daughter of Cheryl and Brian Thompson, and has one sibling, Ashley. She is pursuing an exercise and health science major with nutrition and pre-physical therapy minors. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, biking, kayaking, swimming, and hanging out with family and friends. Hailley looks forward to being a part of a team that inspires her and motivates her to work hard and achieve her goals.
