2016: INDOOR ... competed in three meets ... recorded season-bests in the 3K (12:23.52), mile (6:03.66) and 5K (21:36.06) ... OUTDOOR ... competed in five meets ... ran a season-best 5:35.72 in the 1,500 at Macalester.

2015: INDOOR: ... ran a season-best 6:04.09 in the mile at the CSB Quad ... also ran season-bests in the 3,000-meter in 12:18.42 at the Ole Qualifier and 21:27.77 in the 5,000 ... OUTDOOR ... ran a season-best 21:09.14 in the 5K at the CSB|SJU Quad ... also ran a season-best in the 10K in 43:54.99 at the MIAC Championships.

2014: INDOOR ... ran a career-best 5:59.50 mile, the first sub-six mile of her collegiate career ... OUTDOOR ... ran season-bests 5:27.72 in the 1500 and 20:30 in the 5K

2013: First season … OUTDOOR … season bests included a career-best 5:25.14 in the 1500-meter, 20:16.46 in the 5000-meter and 42.02.70 in the 10,000-meter … her 5,000 and 10,000 times were also career bests ... INDOOR … season bests included: 11.42.31 in the 3000-meter - a career-best - and a 20:36.63 in the 5000-meter.
 
High School: A 2012 graduate of St. Cloud Christian School, Banaian was coached by Matt Swanson and Karla Hultgren. She participated in cross country (three years), basketball (two years), track and field (four years), and volleyball (one year). She received Warrior Award and Most-Improved in both cross country and track and field.
 
Personal: Banaian is the daughter of Barbara and King Banaian of St. Cloud, Minn. She enjoys running, biking, working out, playing piano and reading. At CSB|SJU, she is majoring in mathematics and theoretical physics.
