High School: Juntunen-Novak is a 2021 graduate of Sauk Rapids-Rice where she participated in dance for five years and track and field for four. She earned four varsity letters in both sports and academic all-conference in dance as a senior. Her proudest moment was her sophomore year in track where she hit a goal time and felt so good knowing her training paid off.
Personal: Ava is the daughter of Nicole Juntunen and Josh Novak and she plans to major in Psychology or Elementary Education. She enjoys being with friends, running and being outside, and likes being part of a team and having the opportunity to stay in touch with the community of the school.
