High School: A 2007 graduate of Twin Falls High School, Irons was coached by Grindstaff and Kleinkopf... participated in track and field (four years), cross country (one year), basketball (four years) and volleyball (one year) ... second team all-region in cross country… state medalist in four track and field events
Personal: Daughter of Lynn and Steve Irons of Twin Falls, ID… enjoys hiking, backpacking, swimming and traveling… majoring in peace studies with minors in history and Hispanic studies.
What is your proudest moment of your career?
"My proudest moment in my cross country career was finishing 3rd place as a team at the 2006 Idaho state meet."
What do you like about being a collegiate student-athlete?
"Being a collegiate student-athlete gives me the opportunity to dive deep into two areas of my life that I hold a passion for: learning and running. To balance the two is a big challenge but is very rewarding in the end."
