Biography
2022: OUTDOOR: Competed in six meets in her first season with the team ... recorded four top-15 finishes ... ran a career-best 1,500 at Carleton on April 23 (5:32.80) and a career-best 800 on April 29 at a home meet (2:31.14) ... INDOOR: qualified for the MIAC Championships in the 800 and 1,000 ... finished 21st in both and ran a career-best 3:26 in the 1,000 ... recorded six top-10 finishes.
2020-21: Saw playing time in four games as a sophomore on the CSB soccer team in a season that was shortened and played in Spring 2021 due to the COVID19 pandemic ... played 123 minutes.
2019: Played in seven games as a first year with the CSB soccer team.
High School: Cook graduated from West High School where she participated in soccer and swimming and earned varsity letters in both for three years. Her proudest moment was qualifying for state swim meets each year she competed.
Personal: Alex is the daughter of Matthew Cook and Jeannene Whitman. She has one sister, Madeline. Her hobbies are soccer, cello, skiing, and swimming. She is looking forward to the community aspect of being a student-athlete at CSB/SJU, and she is a biochemistry major.
