2014-15: Named the Blazer Award winner by her team at the end of the season ... earned All-MIAC for a second straight year after finishing third in the 1-meter diving competition at the MIAC Championships ... her score of 402.55 was the second-best in school history and qualified for the NCAA Zone Sectionals ... won the 1-meter dive at the Hamline Invite (Nov. 8) and the St. Thomas dual (Jan. 10) ... took 16th at the Jean Freeman Invite against Division I competition ... recorded six top-10 finishes.2013-14: Earned All-MIAC honors after finishing third in the 1-meter dive at the MIAC Championships ... won three events throughout the year ... finished in the top two at eight out of nine meets she competed in.2012-13: Qualified for the MIAC Championships in the 1-meter diving competition ... finished fourth ... won three 1-meter diving competitions throughout the year ... finished in the top two seven times ... recorded the second-best 1-meter (6) score in school history (234.80) as a sophomore.2011-12: First season ... competed in six meets for the Blazers ... finished fifth in the 1-meter diving competition at the MIAC Championships ... finished in the top five at all six meets ... best finish was a runner-up.High School: A 2011 graduate of Lourdes High School, Lawson was coached by Greg Andrews and Rich Ballard. She participated in diving (four years), gymnastics (four years), and track and field (two years) during her athletic career at Lourdes. Lawson is a four-time state participant in gymnastics as well as a three-time state participant in diving. She is also a two-time team MVP in gymnastics.
Personal: Lawson is the daughter of Maureen and John Lawson of Rochester, Minn. She enjoys diving and gymnastics. She is majoring in integrative health science and minoring in pre-physical therapy.
