Megan Bartels-Season-Career ResultsĀ 

2023-24: Competed in ten meets, recording fifteen top-eight finishes ... competed in the MIAC Championships, setting career-bests in the 50 Y Breast (31.74), the 100 Y Breast (1:08.70), the 200 Y Breast (2:33.50), and the 200 Y IM (2:21.20) ... swam on the 200 Y Medley Relay (4th) (CSB All-Time Record) and the 400 Y Medley Relay (6th) at the MIAC Championships ... earned All-MIAC Honorable Mention for her performance in the 200 Y Medley Relay ... won both the 100 Y Breast (1:14.49) and the 200 Y BreastĀ (2:39.25) at the CSB vs Macalester vs SJU meet ... took 1st place in the 200 Y Breast at the HAM vs CSB/SJU meet with aĀ time of 2:37.82 ... set a career-best in the 100 Y IM (1:07.64) at the Rochester Invitational ... set a career-best in the 200 Y Free (2:11.90) at the Gustie Challenge.Ā 

2022-23: Competed in nine meets, recording fifteen top-eight finishes … competed in the MIAC Championships, setting career-bests in the 50 Y Breast (32.50), the 100 Y Breast (1:09.61) (13th place), and the 200 Y IM (2:24.39) (22nd place) … swam the 200 Y Breast at the MIAC Championships, earning 17th place with a season-best time of 2:35.74 … competed in the 200 Y Medley Relay at the MIAC Championships, finishing in 6th place ... won the 100 Y Breast at the SJU Invitational with a time of 1:12.72.Ā 

High School: Bartels is a 2022 graduate from Highland Ranch High School. While in school, she played soccer for two years and swam for four seasons. She was a part of a competitive club soccer team and a competitive club swim team. Her accomplishments include, Swim Scholar Athlete Award, Swim and Dive Coach Award as Most Dedicated Freshman/Sophomore, Swim and Dive Varsity Coach Award (2021), Swim and Dive State Alternative, and Swim and Dive State Qualifier. The proudest moment of her career so far was taking a risk to join the swim team and growing her skills as a swimmer to eventually be named Team Captain.

Personal: Megan is the daughter of Kimberly (CSB Alumna ’97) and Gary Bartels; she has two siblings: Benjamin, and Catherine. In her free time, she likes running, golfing, biking, skiing, hiking, photography, videography, reading, and traveling. While at CSB, she is majoring in Exercise Science with a minor in Nutrition. She likes being a collegiate student-athlete because it allows herĀ to continue her competitive swim career while also pursuing a degree for her future.
