Laura Jennings-Season-Career Results 

2023-24: Competed in ten meets, recording twenty-one top-eight finishes … competed in the MIAC Championships, setting career-bests in the 50 Y Fly (28.44) and the 100 Y Fly (1:01.78) and competing in the 500 Y Free (5:26.11) and the 200 Y Fly (2:15.60) … earned All-MIAC Honorable Mention for her performance in the 200 Y Fly ... won the 200 Y Fly in 2:25.38 at the HAM vs CSB/SJU meet … set a career-best in the 400 Y IM (5:01.28) at the Rochester Invitational. 

2022-23: Competed in nine meets, recording seventeen top-8 finishes … competed in the MIAC Championships, setting a career-best in the 50 Y Fly of 28.47 and taking 8th place in the 200 Y fly in 2:16.38 … competed in the 800 Y Free Relay, earning 5th place at the MIAC Championships ... took 7th place in the 100 Y Fly (1:04.20) and 3rd in the 200 Y Fly (2:24.70) at the Saint Cloud meet … took 3rd place in the 500 Y Free (5:52.88) and 5th place in the 100 Y Fly (1:04.07) at the Macalester meet … finished in 2nd place in both the 100 Y Fly (1:04.62) and the 200 Y Fly (2:22.70) at the SJU vs CSB Invite … won the 200 Y Fly in 2:20.44 and took 3rd place in the 100 Y Fly in 1:03.76 at the Gustavus Invitational … set a career-best 200 Y Free of 2:06.98 at the Rochester Invitational … finished in 5th place in the 200 Y Free (2:11.91), 2nd place in the (30.12), and 3rd place in the 100 Y Fly (1:04.77) at the SJU Invitational … took 4th place in the 200 Y Free (2:09.12) and 5th place in the 100 Y Fly (1:04.95) at the Gustavus meet. 

2021-22: Qualified for the MIAC Championships in the 500 free and 100 and 200 fly ... made the championship finals in the 200 fly and the B finals in the 500 free and 100 fly ... finished seventh in the 200 fly, 14th in the 100 fly and 11th in the 500 free ... swam the sixth-best 200 fly time in program history at the conference meet ... also swam career-best 500 free and 100 fly times ... recorded 12 top-three finishes.

2020-21: Competed in four meets as a first year in a COVID-shortened season ... recorded three career-best times at the St. Kate's Quad to end the season ... recorded five top-five finishes ... won the 100 fly and 500 free at the Hamline dual.

High School: Jennings is a 2020 graduate of Benilde St. Margaret’s where she participated in swimming for four seasons. She also participated in the Aqua Jets Swim Team for 10 years. Her accomplishments during this time include Hardest Worker in 2017 and all-conference in 2019. Her proudest moment was during her last sections meet when she swam the 500 and dropped time after a long time of no improvement. She also recorded her highest finish in her high school career at that race.
 
Personal: Laura is the daughter of Tom and Therese Jennings she has one brother, Colin Jennings. In her free time, she enjoys writing and doing journalism. Laura is majoring in business with a minor in psychology. She is looking forward to the team aspect of the sport and being able to represent CSB/SJU in the water.
