High School: A 2009 graduate of Grand Rapids High School… participated in swimming and diving (4 years) during her athletic career at Grand Rapids High School… prep swimming honor roll in 2007 and 2008… all-section selection in 2007 and 2008.
Personal: Daughter of Mimi Barzen and Dan Hanson of Grand Rapids, MN… enjoys ceramics, ultimate Frisbee and rock climbing… majoring in chemistry and pre-pharmacy with a minor in art.
What are your personal best times for your specific events? 200 fly: 2:26;100 fly: 1:03; 200 IM: 2:26
What is your proudest moment of your career?
"I looked up at the clock after the 200 fly at conference and realized that I dropped 10 seconds and that all the hard work paid off."
What do you like about being a collegiate student-athlete?
"The team becomes your family in and out of the pool."
