Biography
2014-15: Qualified for the MIAC Championships in the 200 backstroke, 400 individual medley and 500 freestyle ... finished 12th in the 200 back, 16th in the 500 free and 17th in the 400 IM ... swam a career-best in the 200 back and the eighth-best time in CSB history (2:12.66) ... also swam career-bests in the 50 and 100 back as a senior ... won the 200 back at the St. Kate's Invite Jan. 31 and the 200 IM at the Hamline Invite Nov. 8 ... part of the 800 freestyle relay team that swam the eighth-best time in CSB history (8:03.61).2013-14: Competed in two meets ... recorded four top-10 finishes ... studied abroad in the spring semester and didn't compete.2012-13: Qualified for the MIAC Championships in the 400 IM and 500 and 1,650 free ... finished 11th in the 400 IM, 17th in the 1,650 free and 19th in the 500 free ... swam career-bests in the 200 IM (2:22.43) ... won the 1,000 free at the Hamline Invite on Nov. 3 ... recorded 17 top-10 finishes.2011-12: Qualified for the conference championships in the 400 IM and 500 and 1,650 freestyle ... finished ninth in the 1,650, 11th in the 400 IM and 12th in the 500 ... swam career-bests in all three races ... also swam the seventh-best 500 free time in CSB history (5:15.20), the eighth-best 1,650 free time (18:25.54) and the ninth-best 400 IM time in school history (4:46.76) ... also swam the seventh-best 100 butterfly in school history (1:01.11) ... took third in two events in her first collegiate meet at the Hamline Invite Oct. 29.High School: A 2011 graduate of Robert Service High School, Iverson was coached by Ben Kitchen and participated in swimming and diving (four years) during her athletic career at Robert Service. Iverson is a four-time Alaska state swimming meet participant. She has placed third and fifth in the 200 free and second, third, and fourth in the 500 free. Iverson was named team MVP and is a two-time team captain.
Personal: Iverson is the daughter of Robin and Kevin Iverson of Anchorage, Alaska. She enjoys swimming, reading, traveling, and listening to music. Her major is psychology with a minor in pre-physical therapy.
