Emma Neely-Season-Career Results 

2023-24: Competed in nine meets, recording four top-eight finishes … took 2^nd place in the 200 Y Back with a career-best time of 2:35.92 at the HAM vs CSB/SJU meet … recorded a career-best of 27.18 in the 50 Y Free at the Rochester Invitational … set a career-best in the 100 Y Free with a time of 1:00.06 at the Gustie Challenge.

High School: Neely is a 2023 graduate from Milaca High School. While in school, she was a part of the swim and dive team for six years and the track & field team for six years. She was also a part of the Milaca Tsunami Swim Club. Her accomplishments include, receiving five Varsity letters (2019-2022), and swimming a sub 1:10 in the 100 backstroke (2021 and 2022). Her proudest moment in her career so far was getting into the sub 1:10 club for swimming, since her was her long term goal in high school. 

Personal: Emma is the daughter of Kirsten and James Neely. In her free time, Emma enjoys swimming, baking, listening to music, weightlifting, walking, biking, praying, reading, and participating in spiritual activities. While at CSB, she is majoring in Psychology and Exercise Science. What Emma likes most about being a collegiate student-athlete is that her sport allows her to keep a healthy schedule and eating routine. She also likes that it allows her to dedicate time to her sport while allowing her breaks from her everyday life. Emma thinks sports are good for her mental health, so having the structure of a team and support system helps her to succeed academically.
