2006-2007: Excels at sprint freestyle and 100 breaststroke…should have another amazing year as a trainer and competitor.

2005-2006: Competed in various individual and relay events …participated in the MIAC Championships in the 200-yard freestyle relay, 200-yard medley relay, 200- and 100-yard breaststroke and the 200-yard IM…earned All-MIAC honors.

High School: A 2005 graduate of St. Cloud Tech High School, Johnson was coached by Sandy Hanson…participated in swimming (five years),  basketball (four years) and softball (four years) during her athletic career at Tech…captained her swimming and diving team…voted MVP three times by her team…three-time state meet qualifier…earned All-Conference honors four years in a row…holds high school’s record in the 100 breaststroke…named All-Conference twice in basketball…voted Team Defense MVP by her basketball twice…personal best in 100 breaststroke of 1:08.40.

Personal: Daughter of Robin and Denny Johnson of St. Cloud, MN…father is head softball coach and assistant basketball coach at CSB…sister Brittney graduated from CSB in ’07…enjoys dancing, listening to music, movies, hanging out with friends, basketball, softball, shopping and eating ice cream…majoring in communication with a minor in psychology.

What do you like about being a collegiate student-athlete?
“I like the balance it forces me to create in my life. Managing all the aspects of a student-athlete's life helps prepare us for our futures after graduation. Plus having a network of support always there for you is why I love being on this team.”

"Points of Pride" What Have You Accomplished in the Sport of Swimming & Diving?
“I hold a high school individual record and 2 college relay records, qualified for nationals as a sophomore in college and qualified for all-conference all 3 years in college.”
