Biography

2014-15: Qualified for the conference meet in the 100 and 200 breaststroke ... took 16th in the 100 breaststroke and 17th in the 200 ... was part of the 400 medley relay that swam the fifth-best time in school history (4:04.86) ... also part of the 200 medley relay that swan the ninth-best time in CSB history (1:52.70).

2013-14: Qualified for the conference championships in the 100 and 200 breaststroke ... finished 16th in the 100 breaststroke and 18th in the 200 ... swan in the ninth-best 100 breaststroke time in school history (1:09.69) ... finished in the top 20 in each event she competed in ... took second in the 100 breaststroke at the St. Cloud dual.

2012-13: Qualified for the MIAC Championships in the 200 individual medley and 100 and 200 breaststroke ... finished 17th in the 100 breaststroke and 18th in the 200 breaststroke ... recroded 22 top-20 finishes ... finished 17th in the 200 breaststroke at the Jean Freeman Invite on Dec. 1.

2011-12: First year ... competed in eight meets ... swam a career-best in the 100 free (1:03.2) at the St. Kate's Invite ... recorded 11 top-20 finishes ... finished second in the 100 breaststroke at the Hamline Invite.

High School: A 2011 graduate of Wayzata High School, Alviani was coached by Elizabeth Hansen.  She participated in swimming and diving (four years) and synchronized swimming (three years) during her athletic career.  She was a conference, section and state champion in synchronized swimming from 2008-10 and a section champion in swimming and diving in 2009-10.

Personal: Alviani is the daughter of Marta and Jim Alviani of Plymouth, Minn.  She enjoys running, skiing, being outside, swimming and spending time with friends.  She is majoring in nursing.
