2023-24: Played in 21 games...five assists, five points, nine shots...single game high of two assists against UW-Eau Claire.

2022-23: Played in 21 games as a sophomore... recorded first career assist on Nov. 11 against U-W Superior and first career goal on Dec. 2 against Bethel... finished the season with one goal, two assists, and seven shots. 

2021-22: Saw playing time in nine games as a first year...had two shots on net.

High School: Sydney is a 2021 graduate of Owatonna High School where she took part in hockey for five years and soccer and track and field for four. She was the hockey team captain from 2018-21 and lettered each year from 2016-21. She earned Owatonna’s Triple A Award as a senior, and was also the soccer team captain and earned three varsity soccer letters and four track letters. Her proudest moment was getting her 100^th point on an assist and leading her team in assists her senior year.

Personal: Sydney is the daughter of Tim and Sarah Hunst and has two siblings, Lillian and Charles. Her hobbies include hiking and biking. She likes that she and her teammates made a choice to take the next steps in their athletic and academic careers and are all here with a competitive mindset. She is an Exercise Science - Pre-Physical Therapy major and Psychology minor.
