High School: Tanaka is a 2017 graduate of The Academy of Charter Schools. She played one year of softball and four years of hockey. She received one academic all-conference award in softball (2015), the Hobey Baker High School Character Award (2017), and was chosen as her team's representative for the Celebration of Hockey in Colorado. Her proudest moment in her hockey career was her first trip to USA Hockey Nationals.  

Personal: Paige is the daughter of Lance and Shawn Tanaka. She has one sister, Elysse. Off the ice, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and bowling. According to Paige, the best part of being a collegiate student-athlete are the friendships between teammates and representing CSB with a group of committed and hardworking women. She plans to major in accounting while at CSB/SJU.
