College of Saint Benedict

High School: Gurr is a 2023 graduate of Eagle Butte High School in Dunmore, Alberta, Canada, where she played hockey and both box and field lacrosse. While attending, she was awarded Honours with Distinction in 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. 

Personal: Gurr is the daughter of Tammy and Bard Gurr, she has one sibling, Nathan. In her free time she enjoys surfing, camping, horseback riding, and volunteering in veterinarian clinics. She plans on double majoring in Biology and Environmental Sciences on the Pre-Vet track. Her proudest hockey moment was coming back from an almost career-ending injury and being able to continue and exceed her journey expectations of playing college hockey. She is most excited to become a collegiate student-athlete because it allows her to be part of a built-in community and family, she says, not only do I have my school friends but an entire group of girls that have my back outside of school.
