2020-21: Played in all nine games as a senior in a season that was shortened and played in Winter 2021 due to the COVID19 pandemic ... recorded the first assist of her career on Feb. 24 against Bethel ... finished with nine blocked shots and nine shots on net.

2019-20: Saw playing time in 13 games after joining the time in the spring semester ... blocked 14 shots and put four shots on net ... earned Academic All-MIAC honors.

High School: Newpower is a 2017 graduate of White Bear Lake High School where she played soccer and hockey for four years. She earned all-conference hockey honors as a senior, and was named the school's Female Athlete of the Year in 2016-17. She also earned all-conference soccer honors as a junior and senior, and all-conference honorable mention for hockey as a junior and soccer as a sophomore. 

Personal: Newpower is the daughter of Heidi and Chris Newpower, and she has four siblings. She is an integrative science major on a pre-physical therapy track and enjoys being outdoors and spending time at her cabin with friends and family.
