2011-12: Brettingen played in a total of 13 games this season, recording four goals and scoring ten points total. She also had six assists, one powerplay, and even one game winning shot. She proved to be a very beneficial first year to the team, ranked in the top three for the most number of points scored.
High School: A 2011 graduate of Warroad High School, Brettingen was coached by David Marvin and participated in cross country (two years), hockey (three years), and softball (four years) during her athletic career. Brettingen is a two-time all-conference selection in cross country and was named team MVP. She is an All-State Honorable Mention in hockey and received the Hobey Baker character award. Brettingen was named all-conference in softball and is a three time All-Section selection. She was named All-State her senior season of softball and participated in the All-Star game. Brettingen received the honor of being named offensive MVP in softball.
Personal: Brettingen is the daughter of Amy Brettingen and Darin Brettingen. She enjoys sports, reading, tubing, and spending time with family. Brettingen is double majoring in accounting and business with a minor in math.
