2009-10: Played 18 games in net for the Blazers...started 17 games including 12 in a row...recorded a 2.99 GAA and .918 save percentage...stopped 579 shots...named team MVP

2008-09: Started six games in net for the Blazers...received most improved award for season...technically superb and sound...showed tremendous poise in big games...recorded a 2.68 GAA and .923 save percentage...tallied one shutout.

High School: A 2008 graduate of the Convent of the Visitation High School, Herzog was coached by Ted Cheesebrough… participated in ice hockey (four years) and lacrosse (four years) during her athletic career at Visitation… four-time All Tri-metro conference in hockey… team MVP in hockey (three years) and lacrosse (two years)… two-year captain in hockey and captain in lacrosse… all state honorable mention in hockey… Hobey Baker character award winner… led all MN goalies in shutouts during 2006-07 season...holds team record of most career shutouts with 17 and most games played.

Personal: Daughter of Laura and Scott Herzog of Mendota Heights, MN…has eight brothers and sisters...enjoys staying active, playing sports, hanging out with friends and family, shopping and traveling…member of Marketing Club and the Student Philanthropy club at CSB/SJU...majoring in Management with a minor in Communication.

“Being chosen to lead my team as a captain my junior and senior year."

What do you like about being a collegiate student-athlete?
“Competing in a sport that I love, being challenged by my teammates to be the best I can be, and forming friendships that will last a lifetime."
