High School: A 2014 graduate of St. Anthony Village High School, Patterson was coached by Sandy Nelson. He played hockey for five years and golf for three. Patterson earned all-conference hockey honors as a junior and senior. She was a team captain as a junior and senior, and earned academic all-state honors as a senior. In golf, she earned all-conference honorable mention as a junior.

Personal: Patterson is the daughter of Jodi and Tom Patterson, She has two sisters, Taylor and Jenny, and enjoys fishing and golfing. She is majoring in actuarial science.
