Jenna Traut is back for her second season as an assistant coach with the College of Saint Benedict hockey team in 2020-21. Traut is a 2015 CSB alumna, and she had a successful playing career between the pipes for the CSB hockey team. In Traut's first season back with the program, the Bennies finished 11-12-1 overall - the most wins for the program since 2001-02.

Traut – a 2015 CSB/SJU grad – works with the College of Saint Benedict hockey team's defense. She returns to CSB with a variety of coaching experience under her belt, including working as an assistant coach with the St. Cloud Ice Breakers high school team from 2015-19. She also worked at High Performance Spring Festival and summer camps in that time, and worked as a coach at the Dave Peterson Camp starting in 2016.

In her work with the Icebreakers, Traut coached one of the team’s goalies to all-conference, all-section and all-area honors.

Traut played four years of hockey at Saint Benedict, and earned a trio of All-MIAC Honorable Mention honors. She played in 68 games in her career, made 1,734 saves and finished with the school record for career save percentage (.907) and minutes played (3729:15).

Traut, who graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in nutrition with a dietetics concentration, currently works for Sysco Western Minnesota as a marketing associate.
