2020-21: Saw playing time in three games as a senior in a season that was shortened and played in Winter 2021 due to the COVID19 pandemic.

2019-20: Played in 23 games ... recorded a career-high three assists, including two in a weekend series against Finlandia ... finished with 16 shots on net and seven blocked shots ... earned Academic All-MIAC honors.

2018-19: Played in 23 games ... recorded two assists ... had 12 shots on goal ... blocked 12 shots.

2017-18: Played in 21 games ... had 10 shots on goal ... blocked four shots.

High School: Hess is a 2017 graduate of Sartell High School. She played four years of volleyball, lacrosse, and hockey and received an all-conference honorable mention honor in lacrosse (2017). Her proudest moment in her hockey career is going to the state tournament.  

Personal: Bre is the daughter of Bob and Kim Hess. She has two sisters, Ali and Megan. She is an elementary education major, and her favorite part of being a collegiate student-athlete is her second family: the team.
