2014-15: Played in 15 games after missing part of the season with an injury ... scored one goal on Feb. 20 in a win over St. Thomas ... finished the year with 19 total shots.

2013-14: Junior season ... played in all 25 games ... finished with two goals and five assists with seven points ... totaled 49 shots with a .041 shot percentage.

2012-13: Sophomore season … led the team with six goals (tied with Ally Nielsen), six assists and 12 points despite missing the early part of the season playing soccer … appeared in 19 games after joining the team as the end of the soccer season … scored six goals with six assists for 12 points … took a team high 54 shots … 3-17 PIM … scored one game-winner and two unassisted goals … had a season high thee points with a goal and two assists in a 4-0 win over Augsburg on 11/17/12 … scored both goals in a 2-1 win over Concordia (Wis.) on 1/10/13 … tallied at least a point in five straight games from 11/16/12 to 1/10/13, finishing with four goals and three assists during the run.
 
2011-12: O'Brien played in 16 games total during her first year, scoring four goals and bringing in six points to the Blazer team.  She also had two assists and one powerplay.

High School: A 2011 graduate of Stillwater High School, O’Brien was coached by Andy Olson.  She participated in soccer (four years) and hockey (four years) during her athletic career at Stillwater.  She was All-Conference Honorable Mention in soccer and hockey.  O’Brien served as a captain to her soccer team.

Personal: O’Brien is the daughter of Anne and Jim O’Brien of Stillwater, Minn.  She enjoys soccer, hockey and spending time with friends.  Her major is undecided.
