2022-23: Was a WGCA All-America Scholar for 2022-23 … received Academic All-MIAC honors … earned Cosida/College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors … competed in eight tournaments as a sophomore … competed in the DIII Classic, shooting 87 in the first round and 81 in the second round … combined team score of 645 tied for 10th in CSB history at the DIII Classic … took 22nd in the MIAC Championships, her best finish of the season … shot a career-low 76 (tied for 7th all-time) in the third round of the MIAC Championships … combined team score of 980 at the MIAC Championships was the 5th best in CSB history.

2021-22: Competed in all seven tournaments as a first year ... tied for 23rd at her first MIAC Championship ... best finish was a tie for 14th at the Georgianni Invite ... shot a career-low 77 in the second round of the St. Kate's Invite.

High School: Hinton is a 2021 graduate of Hopkins High School. She stayed active in alpine skiing for two years and golf for six years. She earned all-conference golf honors in 2021 and attended state as an individual the same year. Her proudest moment was shooting a 72 last summer in a golf tournament at the Goodrich GC. 

Personal: Georgia is the daughter of Leisl Buechler and Micheal Hinton. In her free time she enjoys crochet, reading and listening to podcasts. She is excited to learn what being a collegiate student-athlete is all about. She is undecided on a major.
