Haley Jung begins her third year as an assistant coach for the CSB golf team in 2023-24. She also serves as CSB's Athletic Operations Manager.
Jung joins the Bennie coaching staff after a four-year varsity golf career at Saint Mary's University in Winona. She was the team captain from 2014-16, and was the Athletic Leadership Award Recipient in May 2016. She also served a team manager for the SMU women's hockey team.
Jung is a 2016 graduate of SMU, and she received her Master's Degree in Integrated Studies with emphasis on mental health of student-athletes from SMU in May 2021. While working to obtain her Master's, Jung served as both a hall director and a graduate assistant of competitive sports at SMU. She supervised all intramural activities on campus for students and supervised and trained student workers to run intramurals until the COVID19 pandemic shut down all sports in March 2020. She then transitioned to a residence hall director where she supervised Resident Assistants in three residence halls and held conduct meetings with students when necessary.
Prior to going back to SMU for her Master's, Jung served as the director of business operations for the Coulee Region Chill - an NA3HL hockey team in La Crosse, Wis. She managed the team's website and social media, and created graphics and email campaigns to help promote the team. She was also responsible for game-day operations and set up. Jung worked in business development for West Metro Buick GMC where she created email marketing and social media campaigns for the dealership and helped with marketing.
Jung currently resides in Avon, Minn.
