Biography

2014: Named the team's MVP following her senior season ... ran the second-best 6K in school history and took 10th in 22:16.62 at the Tori Neubauer Invite ... also ran the seventh-best 5K in school history in 18:44 and took fifth at the Luther Invite ... won the St. Kate's Dual ... was CSB's top finisher in each event she competed in ... finished in the top 30 at every meet ... finished in the top 10 four times ... took sixth at the MIAC Championships and earned All-MIAC honors ... took 26th at the region meet and earned All-Region accolades ... also named to the All-MIAC Academic Team ... ran a career-best 4K in 14:54.69 at the St. Kate's Invite.

2013: Named All-Region for her 29th-place finish at the Central Region Championship Meet ... finished eighth at the MIAC Championship Meet, earning a spot on the All-MIAC team ... named the Blazers' Most Valuable Runner ... a season-best 6K in 22:48 at the Tori Neubauer Invite on Oct. 19 ... highest finish was a fourth-place finish at the St. Kate's Invite on Oct. 12 ... also finished in the top 10 at the St. Kate's Dual, SJU Invite and MIAC Championships ... named to the All-MIAC Academic Team.

2012: Finished in the top 35 five times ... won the CSB Triangular in a season-best 5K (19:00.7) ... also took sixth at the SJU Invite and seventh at the Colorado College Invite ... named to the All-MIAC Academic Team ... took 44th at regions and 67th at the MIAC Championships.

2011: Named to the 2011 Division III All-Region Cross Country team after finishing 30th ... finished in the top 40 in all seven meets ... took third at the St. Kate's Dual and fourth at the SJU Inivte and the Crown Invite ... ran a season-best 5K in 19:05 at the National Catholic Invite and season-best 6K in 23:12.2 at regions.

High School: A 2011 graduate of Little Falls High School, Gammon-Deering was coached by Jacki Devine.  She participated in cross country (six years), Nordic skiing (four years), track and field (four years) and gymnastics (one year) during her athletic career at Little Falls.  She was all-state in cross country and nordic skiing and all-conference in cross country, Nordic skiing and track.  She holds a school record in the 3200 meter run and was all-area in track.

Personal: Gammon-Deering is the daughter of LuAnn Gammon and Jeff Deering of Little Falls, Minn.  She enjoys running, skiing, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.  She is majoring in elementary education with a minor in Spanish.
