Leah Taszarek-Season-Career ResultsĀ
2023: Taszarek competed in five meets over the course of the season. At the Connecticut College Invitational, she finished with a career-best 6k time of 27:07.4. Taszarek also competed in the Blugold Invitational, where she recorded a 6k time of 28:07.6. At the Toni St. Pierre Invitational, she ran a 5k time of 22:23.8, earning 26th place overall.Ā
High School:Ā A 2023 graduate of St.Ā Michael-Albertville High School, TaszarekĀ participated in cross country for four years and track and field for two years. Her achievements in cross country include, lettering in 2021 and 2022, earning Most Improved in 2021, earning Teammate of the Year in 2022, and receiving the Cross Country Booster Club Scholarship in 2022. Her achievementsĀ in track and field include, letteringĀ in 2023. Her proudest moment of her cross country career was being voted Teammate of the Year during her senior year of high school because it showed her how her team valued her as a teammate and as a friend.Ā
Personal: Leah is the daughter of Chad and SheilaĀ Taszarek. In her spare time, she enjoys running, art, reading, being outdoors, and trying new things with her friends. While at CSB, she double majors in Psychology and Exercise/Health Science. Leah likes being a collegiate student-athlete because she gets to meet new people and experience new things while competing in the sport that she loves.
