Hailley Thompson-Season-Career Results
2023: Thompson competed in six meets as a sophomore, including the MIAC Championships, where she recorded a 6k time of 27:01.7. At the Connecticut College Invitational, she ran a season-best 6k time of 26:44.2. Thompson competed in the Fall Finale, where she set a career-best 5k time of 21:52, earning 18th place overall.Â
2022: Thompson competed in six meets as a first year, including the MIAC Conference Championships, where she recorded a 6k time of 26:54.1. At the Jim Drews/Tori Neubauer Invitational, she set a career-best 6k with a time of 26:12.7. Thompson also competed in the CSB/SJU triangular, where she finished with a time of 22:56.9, earning 35th place overall.Â
High School:Â A 2022 graduate from St. Francis High School in Minnesota, Thompson ran cross country for five seasons and track and field for four seasons. Her awards and accomplishments include, Academic All-Conference (CC 2019,2020,2021/TF 2019,2020,2021,2022), All Conference Honorable Mention (CC 2021), Most Valuable Runner Award (CC 2021), 4x800 All Conference Honorable Mention (TF 2019). The proudest moment of her career so far was being a part of the 4x800 team that hit big PRs during their race and earned All-Conference Honorable Mention.

Personal:Â The daughter of Cheryl and Brian Thompson, Hailley has one sibling named Ashley. In her free time, she enjoys biking, hiking, kayaking, swimming, and hanging out with family and friends. While at CSB she is majoring in Exercise and Health Science as well as Nutrition, and she will be minoring in Pre-Physical Therapy. Hailey likes being a collegiate student-athlete because she enjoys being a part of a team that inspires her and motivates her to work hard and achieve her goals.
