Erin Martin-Season-Career Results
2023: Martin competed in six meets, recording three top-50 finishes. She competed in the MIAC Championships, where she ran a 6k career-best of 25:12.2. Martin also competed in the Connecticut College Invite, where she ran a 26:12.9 6k for 45th place overall. At the Fall Finale, she ran a career-best 5k with a time of 20:45, earning 6th place overall.Â
2022: Competed in three meets: the CSB/SJU Triangular with a 5k time of 22:07.7, the Hamline Invitational with a 5.9k time of 26:14.7, and the MIAC Conference Championships with a 6k time of 28:31.6. Martin earned her second Academic All-MIAC Award during the 2022 cross country season.Â
2021: Fought through injury as a sophomore and competed in one meet. Martin earned an Academic All-MIAC Award for the 2021 cross country season.Â
2020: Did not compete as the official 2020 season was canceled due to the COVID19 pandemic and condensed into a short season in March 2021.
High School:Â AÂ 2020 graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School, Martin played volleyball for one year, bowled for four years, played soccer for two years, and ran cross country for three years. She was awarded academic all-conference honors for all four sports. Her proudest moment was running a half marathon with all of her friends.Â
Personal: Erin is the daughter of Katie and John Martin (both attended CSB/SJU). She has six siblings: Jake, Elizabeth, Luke, Sean, Paul, and Jill. Her hobbies include reading, traveling, biking, singing and listening to music, hanging out with friends and family, and cooking. She likes being a collegiate student-athlete because she gets to be apart of a team. Erin says her team is like a family and they never fail to inspire and challenge her.
