Emily Tess-Season-Career Results 

2023: Tess competed in six meets as a junior, including the MIAC Championships, where she ran a career-best 6k with a time of 25:31.3. At the Connecticut College Invite, she finished with a 6k time of 26:01.2. Tess also competed in the Toni St. Pierre Invitational, where she recorded a 5k career best, earning 18th place with a time of 21:30.2.

2022: Tess competed in six meets as a sophomore, including the MIAC Conference Championships, where she recorded a 6k time of 28:21.6. At the Jim Drews/Tori Neubauer Invitational, she ran a season-best 6k with a time of 26:01.0. Tess also competed in the CSB/SJU triangular, where she finished in 31st place with a 5k time of 22:10.6. 

2021: Competed in seven meets as a first year ... finished in the top 25 twice ... ran a career-best 6K (26:38.6) at Carleton on Sept. 25.

High School: A 2021 graduate of Sun Prairie High School in Sun Prairie, Wis, Tess participated in wrestling for eight years, cross country for seven and track and field for six. She earned varsity letters in cross country each year from 2018-20, and earned academic all-conference for wrestling those same years. Her proudest moment was making it to sectionals during her senior year.

Personal: The daughter of Heidi and Mike Tess, Emily has three siblings: Isaac, Adam and Ann. She enjoys reading and biking, and is a Biology major at CSB/SJU. She likes being a collegiate student-athlete because she enjoys how close the team is and the community that comes from running.
