Bridget Tetmeyer-Season-Career Results
2023: Tetmeyer competed in five meets, recording two top-50 finishes over the course of the season. At the NCAA Division III North Region Cross Country Championships, she ran a 6k time of 23:40.7, earning 73rd place. At the MIAC Championships, Tetmeyer finished in 38th place with a 6k time of 23:59.5. She set a new career-best 6k time at the Connecticut College Invitational, finishing in 23:38.0, the 40th fastest 6k in school history. At the Toni St. Pierre Invitational, Tetmeyer recorded a career-best 5k time of 19:23.2, the 33rd fastest 5k in school history.
2022: Tetmeyer competed in seven meets during her junior year, recording four top-50 finishes over the course of the season. At the NCAA Division III North Region Cross Country Championships she finished in 63rd place with a 6k time of 23:59.5. At the MIAC Conference Championships, Tetmeyer recorded a 6k time of 24:25.2, earning 27th place overall. She recorded a season-best at the Jim Drews-Tori Neubauer Invitational, where she ran a 6k time of 23:41.8, earning 35th place. At the CSB/SJU Triangular, Tetmeyer recorded a 5k time of 19:24.2, earning 4th place overall. She was awarded her second Academic All-MIAC honor for the 2022 cross country season.
2021: Competed in seven meets in her first season with the program ... finished 53rd at the MIAC Championships ... ran a career-best 6K time of 23:55.7 at Lewis & Clark on Oct. 16 - one of the top-50 times in program history ... finished in the top 30 three times, including fifth at the SCSU Tri. Tetmeyer received an Academic All-MIAC award for the 2021 cross country season.
High School: A a 2020 graduate of Great River High School, Tetmeyer participated in four seasons of cross country and two seasons of track. Her accomplishments include, being named the cross country team’s Most Valuable Athlete in 2017 and 2019 and being named the Athena Award winner, as an outstanding senior athlete in 2020. The proudest moment of Tetmeyer’s career so far is becoming the first individual athlete at Great River School to advance to the state meet for any sport in the 2019 state cross country meet.
Personal: Bridget is the daughter of Kate and Andy Tetmeyer, and her dad is an SJU alumni. She also has two sisters, Drew and Ruby. Some of her favorite activities include biking, art, and reading. Bridget is majoring in nutrition with a minor in Hispanic studies. She likes being a collegiate student-athlete because she enjoys having a reliable and constant source of friendship, motivation, and support within her cross country team, as well as within the CSB community.
