Biography
2015: Ran in six races her senior season ... finished in the top 55 four times ... ran a career-best 4K (16:42) at the Alumnae Meet, a career-best 5K (21:06.9) at the National Catholic JV Meet and a career-best 6K (24:54.3) at Carleton ... finished in the top 20 at both the Fall Finale and Alumnae Meet.
2014: Appeared in seven meets as a junior ... finished in the top 50 once ... ran a season-best 4K in 17:22.14 at the St. Kate's Invite ... also ran a season-best 6K in 26:07.19 at the Tori Neubauer Invite.
2013: Did not compete.
2012: Ran eight races in her first year as a Blazer ... ran a season-best 6K time of 27:15 at the SJU Invite on Sept. 12 ... ran a season-best 5K in 21:45.6 at the CSB Triangular ... finished in the top 60 four times.
High School: A 2012 graduate of Wayzata High School, Palmquist participated in cross country for four years and track and field and Nordic skiing for two. She received the Improved Every Year and the 6-Year Runner awards.
Personal: Palmquist is the daughter of Debra and Phil Palmquist of Plymouth, Minn. Her grandmother, grandfather, father and brother all attended CSB|SJU. She enjoys the outdoors, traveling and yoga.
