Ava Juntunen-Novak-Season-Career Results

2023: Juntunen-Novak competed in six meets, including the MIAC Championships with a 6k time of 25:25.9. At the Connecticut College Invitational, she recorded a career-best 6k, with a time of 25:04.4. At the Toni St. Pierre Invitational, she recorded a 17th place finish with a 5k career-best of 21:22.5. Juntunen-Novak recorded top-50 finishes in 3 meets over the course of the season. 

2022: Juntunen-Novak competed in six meets, including the MIAC Conference Championships, with a 6k time of 28:51.3. She also competed in the Jim Drews/Tori Neubauer Invitational, earning a 6k personal best time of 28:42.2. Juntunen-Novak earned an Academic All MIAC Award for the 2022 cross-country season. 

2021: Did not compete. 

High School: A 2021 graduate from Sauk Rapids High School in Minnesota, Juntunen-Novak was on the dance team for five seasons, ran track and field for four seasons, and participated in club dance for 13 years. Her awards include, varsity letters in both sports for four seasons and Academic Awards in dance. The proudest moment of her career so far was hitting her goal time and being able to feel good knowing her training paid off.
 
Personal: The daughter of Nicole Juntunen, Ava has one sibling, Kaylee, who is a CSB Alumna. In her free time, she likes running, cooking, being outside, and hanging out with friends and family. Ava is pursuing an Elementary Education major and Psychology minor. She enjoys being a part of a team and being a part of a community at CSB/SJU.
