2012 Women's Cross Country Roster
Biography
High School: A 2010 graduate of Bismarck High School, Wachter was coached by Scott Reichenberger and participated in cross country (five years), track (five years) and soccer (two years) during her athletic career at Bismarck. Wachter is a four-time all-state selection in cross country and an all-state selection in soccer. She was also all-conference in cross country as well as a state tournament participant in track.
Personal: Wachter is the daughter of Kelly and Mike Wachter of Bismarck, N.D. She enjoys playing guitar, snowboarding, reading, and photography. Wachter is majoring in elementary education and minoring in art.
What is your proudest moment of your career?
"Taking third place in State Track in the 800m and fifth place at State Cross Country."
What do you like about being a collegiate student-athlete?
"I love that being a college athlete challenges me everyday to work hard at running and to become the best athlete I can, but it also challenges me to be an even better teamate and friend. The drive and passion given and received between each Blazer woman is inspiring."
