2019-20: Saw playing time in all 25 games as a first year ... averaged 2.5 points and 2.9 rebounds per game ... scored a career-best seven points twice and pulled down a career-high seven rebounds on Dec. 28 against Bethany Lutheran ... also finished with 24 steals.
High School: Szathmary is a 2019 graduate from D’Evelyn Jr./Sr. High School in Lakewood, Colo. She played basketball for four years. She earned Jeffco 4A All-Conference Second Team (2016-17, 2017-18), All-Conference First Team (2018-19), Academic Honor Roll (2016-19) and First Team All-Academic (2017-18, 2018-19). She also was a CCGS All-State Participant in 2019. She set her school’s career rebound record as well as the record for most double-doubles in a season record. She was also the program’s first player to average a double-double as a senior. She also participated in club basketball and was a USJN Pool All-Star. The proudest moment of her career was when she was a sophomore and hit a buzzer-beater to help her team beat their rivals by one point.
Personal: Victoria is the daughter of Pete and Liz Szathmary. Her siblings are Nick and Lexi. Her hobbies are cooking and being with animals. She is a global business major and a psychology minor.
