2011-2012: Member of the JV team.

High School: A 2011 graduate of Buffalo High School, Muntifering was coached by Scott Sorenson.  She participated in basketball (four years), track and field (four years) and volleyball (three years) during her athletic career at Buffalo.  She was an all-state honorable mention honoree as well as a two-time all conference selection in basketball.  Muntifering also received academic all-state and all-conference honors in basketball and volleyball.  She holds the school record in field goal percentage and was ranked nationally in the category over her high school career.

Personal: Muntifering is the daughter of Marsha and Chris Muntifering of Buffalo, MN.  Her cousin attended CSB/SJU.  She enjoys running, lifting, basketball and volleyball.  She is majoring in English with a minor in secondary education.

What is your proudest moment of your career? 
“My senior year, our team beat Saint Michael-Albertville in the Section final and earned a berth in State Tournament!”

What do you like about being a collegiate student-athlete? 
“I will enjoy playing at a higher level of competition as well earning a college education. It will help me to improve my organizational skills!”
