2008-2009: Appeared in all 30 games, averaging 14.2 minutes per game ... scored 147 points for an average of 4.9 points per game ... was 47 for 141 from the field (.333 field-goal percentage) ... made 31 of 94 three-point attempts ... shot .500 or better from beyond the arc in 13 games ... shot a .759 free-throw percentage on 31 for 94 shooting (seventh for CSB) ... was 1.000 from the free-throw line in five games ... grabbed 69 rebounds, averaging 2.3 rebounds per game ... pulled down four or more rebounds in ten games ... dished out 23 assists and grabbed 11 steals ... against UW-Whitewater on March 7 in the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament, Canton scored a season-high 11 points after making 4 of 5 field goal attempts, including 3 of 4 three-pointers ... on Jan. 5 against St. Olaf College, Canton scored ten points on 3 for 4 from the field, including sinking both of her three-point attempts.

2007-2008: Appeared in 16 games, averaging 5.1 minutes per game … shot 9 of 9 from the free-throw line … made 13 of 28 field goal attempts, a .464 field goal percentage … shot 8-for-21 on three-point field goals, a .381 three-point field goal percentage … scored 43 points and averaged 2.7 points per game … recorded 12 rebounds, four assists and three steals … on Nov. 17 versus Fontbonne, the first game of the season, Canton scored a season-high 17 points on 4-for-4 free throws and 3 of 5 shooting from behind the arc.

High School: A 2007 graduate of Pine Island High School, Canton was coached by her father Rick … participated in volleyball (four years) and basketball (four years) during her athletic career at Pine Island … two-time All-Hiawatha Valley League Conference selection in basketball … Associated Press All-State honorable mention her junior year … Coaches Association All-State honorable mention her senior year … 1,000 point scorer for Pine Island … all-time leading scorer at Pine Island … owns the single season records at Pine Island for most three-point field goals made (72) and free throw percentage (79 percent) during her senior season … member of the Pine Island girls basketball team that was Hiawatha Valley League Blue Division Conference Champions her sophomore and senior year … named to the All-Hiawatha Valley league Conference volleyball team in 2006.

“Having amazing teammates and the chance to compete at the collegiate level while getting a great education.”

Why did you decide to attend CSB?
“The atmosphere and people were amazing, everyone was really friendly and I knew it was a great fit.”

“I am a 1,000 point scorer and the all time leading scorer in Pine Island.  I have also set single season records at Pine Island for most three-point field goals made (72) and free throw percentage (79 percent).”
