High School: Katelyn is the 2020 graduate of Willmar Senior High School where she was involved in track, basketball, and soccer for four years. She earned all-conference basketball honors as a senior and honorable mention accolades as a junior, and also earned all-conference honorable mention in soccer in 2019 and 2020. She also played for the West Central United AAU team. Her proudest moment of her career was beating DeLaSalle at the state basketball tournament. 

Personal: Katelyn is the daughter of Shannon and Troy Murphy and she has two brothers, including one also attended CSB/SJU. Her hobbies include boating, painting, and drawing. She likes being a collegiate student-athlete because it keeps her busy and active while making new lifetime friends, and she plans to major in global business leadership.
