2023: Earned All MIAC as a junior. Played and started in 34 games holds a batting average of .361 (third on the team, 12th in the MIAC), had a slugging percentage of .629 (third on the team), her on base percentage is .431 (16th in the MIAC), she had 23 runs scored (third on the team, 21st in the MIAC) out of 35 hits (second on the team, 34th in the MIAC) and 97 at bats..had four doubles, two triples (first on the team), and six home runs (second on the team, third in the MIAC)...RBI total of 26 was second on the team, 10th in the MIAC... had eight stolen bases (second on the team), a current reached base streak of eight, nine multi-hit games, seven with two hits and two with three hits (making her second leader on the team), also had six total multi-RBI games... in the field, led the team with five double plays and 43 assists, she also had 69 putouts (third on the team) and 115 chances.
2022: Spent most of the season at second base... recorded 12 hits, including a pair of home runs.
2021: Started and played in all 33 games as a first year, mostly at second base ... finished fourth on the team with a .340 batting average ... finished second on the team with 34 hits and led the Bennies with 31 RBIs ... recorded a team-best seven home runs to go along with four doubles and a triple ... finished second on the team with a .610 slugging percentage ... had a .942 fielding percentage.
High School: Benson is a 2020 graduate of Kimball Area High School where she participated in softball for four seasons. She set the school’s single-season and career home run records, and was named the team’s Most Valuable Bat in 2018 and 2019. She also earned CMC Athlete of the week and All-Conference honors in 2018, Most Valuable Glove in 2017, Spotlight on Scholarship honoree from 2016-2019 and All-Section honors in 2017 and 2018. Benson's proudest moment so far in her career was breaking the career record for home runs without playing in a senior season.
Personal: Tori is the daughter of Tom and Kristy Harren and has one sibling, J.T. In her free time, she enjoys swimming and playing disc golf. She is majoring in biology on a pre-dental track. Tori is looking forward to participating in college softball because it is intense and constantly pushes you to be the best athlete and person you can be.
