2014: Senior season ... recipient of the Blazer's Coaches Award ... leads team with 2 saves, 112 strikeouts, 25 appearances, just 16 walks allowed ... 12 wins in 19 starts ... 3.45 ERA. 

2013: Junior season ... named All-MIAC Honorable Mention … named to the MIAC All-Tournament team after throwing 11.2 of CSB’s 14 innings in the playoffs … named MIAC Pitcher of the Week on Apr. 1 after going 2-1 with a save, pitching 26 innings with three complete games and a perfect three-inning save, allowing just five earned runs while striking out 22 … end of the season MIAC rankings included: second in strikeouts (101), third in complete games (14), third in strikeouts per game (5.72), fifth in innings pitched (123.2), fifth in wins (11), sixth in appearances (22), ninth in starts (17), ninth in ERA (3.45) … went 11-8 in the circle … started 17 games with 23 appearances … threw 14 complete games … pitched 123.2 innings with 101 strikeouts … walked just 22 … allowed just eight homeruns … finished with an ERA of 3.28.
 
2012: During her sophomore season, Nelson had eleven wins and nine losses.  She scored in 17 games and earned 33 runs, making this a very successful season.  In terms of the NCAA Division III rankings of the year, Nelson earned:
 --62/400 in earned run average
--190/200 players in number of victories
--30/200 in walks allowed per seven innings
--131/200 in hits allowed per seven innings
--172/200 in number of triples
--92/200 in number of shutouts

2011: As a first year, Nelson had nine wins and seven losses.  She also had an impressive 109 hits and 46 runs.  She also was an All-Miac Honorable Mention.

High School:  A 2010 graduate of Chisago Lakes High School, Nelson was coached by Herb Jangor and Todd MacIver. She participated in softball (six years) and volleyball (three years) during her athletic career at Chisago Lakes. Nelson is a three-time All Conference selection in softball and also received All-Conference honors in volleyball.

Personal:  Nelson is the daughter of Monica and Vance Nelson of Lindstrom, Minn. She enjoys playing sports, reading, writing, and spending time with family and friends. Her major is undecided.
