2012: As a sophomore, Kirkvold played and scored in 31 games.  She had 88 at bats, 11 runs and 16 hits.  With an RBI of 7 and a field percentage of 100%, she has made herself an excellent contributor to the Blazer softball team.

2011: During her first year, Kirkvold had a batting average of .208, playing in 28 games.  She had 48 at bats with 11 runs and 10 hits.  Her fielding percentage was nearly 95%.
 
High School: A 2010 graduate of Winona Cotter High School, Kirkvold was coached by Pat Bowlin and participated in softball (four years), basketball (four years), and soccer (two years) during her athletic career at Winona Cotter. Kirkvold was named to the HVL All-Conference and All-State teams in 2009 and 2010 for softball. She was also selected Team MVP in 2010.

Personal: Kirkvold is the daughter of Roger and Sheila Kirkvold of Winona, Minn. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing sports, and watching movies. Kirkvold is majoring in nutrition.

Proudest moment of her softball career:
“Beating our rivals my junior year to go to the State Tournament."

What do you like about being a collegiate student-athlete?
“Being a part of a team and competing with such a great group of people."
