2022: Saw time in two varsity games as a first year ... recorded two at-bats.

High School: Madelyn graduated from Sheyenne High School in Fargo, N.D., where she participated in softball and hockey. She earned all-conference and all-state softball honors and 2019 and 2021. She also earned all-conference and all-state hockey honors in 2021, and earned an academic letter all four years. Her proudest moment was winning the state title for summer softball.

 Personal:  Madelyn is the daughter of Jennifer and Scott Buchert, and has one sibling, Chandler. In her free time, Madelyn likes to play hockey, go to a lake, cook, and spent time with her family and friends. She plans to be on a pre-engineering track, and what she likes about a collegiate athlete is the community of people it brings together and the opportunity to continue the sport she loves.
