2021: Made two appearances on the mound as a junior ... recorded nine strikeouts and went 1-1, including a two-hit shutout against Augsburg ... saw playing time in 13 games in the field or as a pinch runner ... recorded five hits in 19 at-bats.

2020: Saw time in eight games as a sophomore before the 2020 season was canceled due to the COVID19 pandemic ... recorded a trio of hits and sent in three RBIs ... threw 1.1 innings on the mound.

2019: Pitched 42.2 innings as a first year ... went 4-3 in 17 appearances with three complete games ... finished with an ERA of 1.97 and 29 strikeouts ... had an opponent batting average of just .189 ... threw a complete-game two-hitter against Macalester on April 2 ... had a career-high seven strikeouts against PSU-Behrend on March 9 ... batted .500 with three hits in six at-bats ... sent in two runs.

High school: Lauren graduated from Delano Public Schools in 2018. There she was a part of swimming for six years and softball for five years. For softball, she earned all-conference honors all four years of high school, all-section all four years, lettered five years in a row, was captain for two years, and was named all-state one year. She also played for Minnesota Vortex/A’s. The proudest moment of her career was three years ago when one of her club softball teammates and pitchers, Lexi, passed away. The team had to play the next morning against one of the toughest teams. York pitched her team to the win, and she felt that Lexi was there supporting her because she also was a pitcher and she recalls that it was a good feeling to make Lexi proud.

Personal: Lauren is the daughter of Todd and Jill York. She has one sister, Sydney York. Lauren is a nursing major. Her hobbies include being outdoors, swimming, hunting, being with friends, and getting coffee. She looks forward to challenging herself as a collegiate athlete by balancing her life, friendships, school, and softball, all while making new friends and meeting new people.
