2023: Swoboda earned All MIAC. Her batting avg was .347 (fourth on the team, 19th in the MIAC) and her on base percentage was .422 (third on the team and 18th in the MIAC). Slugging percentage was .660 (second on the team, third in the MIAC) Played and started in 34 games. Had 101 at bats (second on the team), 31 runs (first on the team and eighth in the MIAC), 35 hits (third on the team and 33rd in the MIAC), along with five doubles (tied for third on the team), one triple, and eight homeruns (first on the team and first in the MIAC). Stole eight bases (third on the team 23rd in the MIAC) and an RBI of 31 (first on the team, fourth in the MIAC). In the field she had 49 chances, 46 putouts and three assists.Â
2022: Earned All-MIAC Honorable Mention honors ... named to the St. Joseph Regional All-Tournament Team ... finished second in the MIAC with five home runs ... also finished fourth in the league with a .604 slugging percentage ... tied her career-high with 20 RBIs ... recorded a career-best 44 putouts from the outfield.
2021: Earned All-MIAC First Team honors ... finished second in the MIAC with 18 walks drawn ... recorded a .707 slugging percentage in MIAC play and a .587 slugging percentage overall ... batted .337 with 31 hits ... finished with 20 RBIs and had eight doubles and finished fifth in the MIAC with five home runs ... recorded a perfect fielding percentage from left field.
2020: Started and played in 14 games before the 2020 season was canceled due to the COVID19 pandemic ... recorded a career-high hits (19), doubles (6), home runs (4) and RBIs (16) ... finished second on the team with a .404 batting average and led the team in RBIs and home runs ... finished 5-for-7 with four homers and seven RBIs in one day against Trine and Wartburg, and was later named MIAC Athlete of the Week ... recorded 15 putouts from left field.
2019: Saw playing time in 27 games as a first year, including nine starts ... batted .370 ... had an impressive .609 slugging percentage ... finished the year with 17 hits, including three doubles and two home runs ... sent in 11 RBIs ... hit a grand slam against St. Joseph's (Maine).
High School: Swoboda is a 2018 graduate from Willmar Senior High School. There, Swoboda played tennis, basketball and softball all for four years. For softball, she was named senior captain, all-area (2017, 2018), all-conference honorable mention (2016), Team Offensive Player of the Year (2016-18), Top 100 Seniors, and CLC player of the week. Her proudest moments of her career thus far have been going to state twice for basketball and being on the All-Star softball team.
Personal: Jordyn is the daughter of Jerry and Julie Swoboda. She has one brother, Jarod, who also attended CSB/SJU. Her hobbies are sports, dogs, and working with photos and videos. She is a communications major with a business minor. She looks forward to being a collegiate student-athlete for the competition, fun, and meeting new people.
