2015 Stats

2015: Played in 12 games in her first season ... recorded three hits and sent in one RBI ... scored two runs ... went 2-for-3 on stolen bases.

High School: Scherer graduated in 2014 from Eden Valley-Watkins High School. During high school, she was coached by Dave Dziengel. She participated in basketball, volleyball and softball for all four years. During her senior year, Scherer was the captain of the volleyball, basketball and softball teams. She was the St. Cloud Times Athlete of the week in 2013. Scherer was voted to the all-conference first team in softball in 2013 and 2014 and she received all-section honors in 2012 and 2013. She also was an all-state honorable mention selection in 2013. During her senior year, she was on the All-State first team for softball and participated in the 2014 All-Star series. She was voted the softball team’s MVP in 2014. Her proudest moment of her career was being the first person to earn first team All-State honors from her high school.

Personal: Scherer is the daughter of Jenni and Tom Scherer. She has three sisters: Brooke, Miranda and Amber. She enjoys camping, being with friends and family, hunting and fishing. At CSB|SJU, Scherer is majoring in biology.
