Erin Ross

Erin Ross ’00 heads into her 14th season at the College of Saint Benedict in the 2020-21 school year.

This marks the 12th year in the training room for Ross, who enters her second season as the department’s head athletic trainer and healthcare administrator. She served as an assistant athletic trainer for nine seasons, and prior to joining CSB’s sports medicine staff she worked for three years as an assistant professor of nutrition at CSB/SJU.

Prior to joining the faculty and then the staff at Saint Benedict, Ross worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer at St. Cloud Orthopedics for two years. She worked as CSB’s graduate assistant athletic trainer through St. Cloud State from 2002-04.

After serving as an assistant nutrition professor from 2005-08, Ross currently serves as an adjunct instructor at CSB/SJU and teaches sports nutrition.

Ross, a 2000 CSB alumnae, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in natural science with a minor in athletic training. She earned her master’s degree in Exercise Science and Sports Medicine from St. Cloud State in 2004.

She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, the Minnesota Athletic Trainers Association and is the co-advisor of CSB’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). She and her husband, Ryan, live in St. Joseph with their daughter.
