Biography
2017-18: Did not compete in any meets as a senior.
2016-17: Swam in five meets as a junior ... recorded career-bests in the 50 back (30.39), 100 back (1:06.22) and 200 back (2:28.42) at the Minnesota Challenge ... recorded six top-10 finishes.
2015-16: Competed in five meets as a sophomore ... swam career-bests in the 100 and 200 back and 200 IM ... recorded five top-10 finishes.
2014-15: First season ... competed in six meets ... swam career-bests in the 50 and 100 free, 50 back and 100 butterfly ... finished fourth in the 100 back at the St. Kate's Invite.
High School: A 2014 graduate of Mat-Su Career & Technical High School, Zugg was coached by Matt Hanley. She participated in swimming and diving for four years and basketball for two. She earned four varsity letters in swimming and was a team captain for two years. She graduated as Valedictorian of her class and was the junior and senior class president.
Personal: Zugg is the daughter of Patricia and Ronald Zugg of Palmer, Alaska. She has two sister, Josi and Maisie. She enjoys hiking, fishing, traveling and spending time with family, and is majoring in nursing.
