Biography
2015-16: Qualified for the MIAC Championships in the 200 and 1,650 freestyle and 200 butterfly races ... finished in the top 20 in all three, including a 15th-place finish in the 1,650 freestyle ... swam career-bests in the 100 fly (1:05.91) and 200 fly (2:27.76) as a senior ... recorded 12 top-10 finishes, including a pair of runner-up performances ... named to the All-MIAC Sportsmanship team ... earned Academic All-MIAC honors ... named CSB's Scholar Athlete for 2015-16.
2014-15: Won the 1,000 free at the Hamline Invite Nov. 8 ... qualified for the MIAC Championships in the 200, 500 and 1,650 freestyle races ... took 10th in the 1,650 free ... finished in the top 30 in the 200 and 500 ... recorded 11 top-10 finishes ... named CSB's Scholar Athlete for 2014-15.
2013-14: Qualified for the conference championships in the 200, 500 and 1,650 freestyle races ... took 10th in the 1,650 free ... also took 18th in the 500 free and 19th in the 200 ... was part of the 800 freestyle relay team that swam the fifth-best time in school history (7:57.40) ... recorded 12 top-10 finishes ... swam career-bests in the 50 and 100 freestyle races.
2012-13: First season ... qualified for the MIAC Championships in the 200, 500 and 1,650 freestyle races ... finished fifth in the 1,650 free, 12th in the 500 and 17th in the 200 ... recorded the 10th-best 500 free time in school history (5:18.62) ... also swan the sixth-best 1,650 freestyle time in CSB history (18:03.67) ... part of the 800 freestyle relay team that swam the second-best time in school history (7:52.56) ... won a pair of events at the Concordia dual ... finished eighth in the 1,650 freestyle at the Jean Freeman Invite Dec. 1 ... swam career-bests in the 200, 500, 1,000 and 1,650 freestyle and 200 butterfly.
High School: A 2012 graduate of Lakeville South High School, Chatelaine was coached by Richard Ringeisen and Dan Schneider. She participated in swimming (six years) and lacrosse (two years). In swimming she was All-American, All-State, two-time All-Conference, All-Conference Honorable Mention, Most Improved, Team Spirit, and three-time Most Dedicated. She was also awarded Most Valuable Defensive Player in lacrosse.
Personal: Chatelaine is the daughter of Sally and John Chatelaine and she has a brother, Luke, and a sister, Jacquelyn. She enjoys baking, biking, and open water swimming. At CSB|SJU, she is majoring in chemistry with a minor in nutrition.
